Intro to Part 5 + Chapter 16

Part five

The topic of discussion in this section was based mainly on the rise of the Europeans as well as the mental processes of people in the long nineteenth century. In the beginning it gives us an intro to what the following chapter are going to discuss about how human beings began to slowly but surely move away from the negative events that were going on during this time. As far as slavery and women equality go, people were starting to become more accepting of it. The rise of the
Europeans discussed how they became on top of the other regions and what it took to get them there after others were in the forefront previous to them

Chapter 16

In the beginning of this section, discussed is the events that happened in Haiti that put them in debt to another country and their request for money after the big earthquake in 2010. The section that follows describes the Atlantic revolution ad where it took place. This revolution took place in many locations like, Latin America, France, North America, and Haiti. The revolution can be described as a global crisis due to the many locations it took place in. It talk about the French revolution and how the French were the first to get aid in the war by blacks n Haiti. I found this to be pretty interesting during the time since slavery had not ended yet and was still in full effect. I wonder how the leader was able to go to Haiti and get help at this time without an issue. Followed by this section comes the American Revolution and a deeper explanation of the French revolution. Both sections summarize what happened during both revolutions and ho they came about. Who helped and how they got through each. These revolutions were apart of the global crisis that was happening at this time.
