Revanant

I had the chance to see this movie about a week ago, I found it very interesting. Spoiler alert in case anyone hasn't had the chance to see it yet. The movie focused on Leonardo DiCaprio's character's Glass revenge on John, (Tom Hardy) for killing his son. His son was mixed and John pointed that out a lot, even picked on the little kid for it. Glass got mauled by a bear really bad, and the captain asked for two men excluding Glass's son to stay with him for a few days and care for him until he healed. At this time he also had a fever. John and another character was volunteered to do so. A few day's passed, and John kills Glass's son as he watched, and was prevented to fight his son's killer back due to his condition. John told the other boy that was with him that Glass's son was no where to be found, and that they needed to leave behind Glass, and his son because the native's were on there way to kill them. The boy had believed him, and they left Glass behind. After doing any and everything he could to survive his journey back to his captain, the captain who was told that Glass had died, was faced with new information. A hunt was then made to find John, and in the process the captain was killed. Glass receives his revenge and the movie ends. Though revenge is not something I promote, I did think that Glass earned it after what John had done. John was a racist, and he murdered an innocent little boy. If Glass hadn't gotten his revenge, someone else would have. It was a great movie as far as survival for the time setting but as far as my taste in movies, it was okay.
