Chapter 13

Part 4 Intro (610-615)

This section discussed the Columbian exchange, and the transfer of plants and diseases. Also discussed was missionaries forcing conformity onto others and the scientific religion transforming in Europe. Due to some of these factors, their was a population change in some countries. These countries were, China, Japan, India, and Europe. The population in these areas doubled between the early 1400's to 1800. During some of this time there was a limitation in military for the mainland of Asia and Africa. This promoted a spread in Islam through those countries.

Chapter 13 (617-649)

In this chapter the ending to the Soviet Union came crashing down on December 25, 1991 around 7:30p.m. It was described that the signal that proved this was the flag being dropped. This had been the end to the communist party. Because the Soviet Union was so big there was a split in the states, which returned some old names and produced new ones.
